- The result of the discussion was: delete. (non-admin closure) Extraordinary Writ (talk) 00:16, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- Nominator's rationale: Just a bunch of songs that have "clock" in the title. Not a defining trait of any of them. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 19:34, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. A few of these songs don't mention clocks at all (Hung Up, Time Is Running Out). Nohomersryan (talk) 02:20, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Delete, insofar articles discuss the lyrics it becomes evident that it is usually not about the clock itself (e.g. Clocks (song) mentions "themes of contrast and urgency"). Marcocapelle (talk) 05:59, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Delete following precedent at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2022 April 28#High school alma mater categories. St. Bridget's Convent, Colombo is a school, not a college. – Fayenatic London 07:56, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Comment -- We frequently have alumni categories for high schools. However for notable people, not for wikipedians. Peterkingiron (talk) 18:58, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Indeed, the criteria for mainspace categories and user categories are very different; we routinely keep categories of Wikipedians that would not define them as people (ex: the entire Category:Wikipedians by interest tree), and keep categories of mainspace articles that would lack a collaborative function if applied to user categories. * Pppery * it has begun... 12:28, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. The reason I didn't nominate this for deletion earlier is that I was confused about what grades the school taught from reading the article. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:27, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: delete, not a defining characteristic, many articles do not even mention the fact. No objection to listification. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:19, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. And in fact there are an infinite number of meridians on the surface of the Earth, so every building contains an infinite number of them. UnitedStatesian (talk) 14:23, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- To avoid misunderstandings, this category is about Sundial#Meridian lines. Marcocapelle (talk) 14:43, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Delete Regardless, I picked two of the pages and neither of them mentioned either a meridian line or a sundial. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 20:51, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was: withdrawn (non-admin closure) Marcocapelle (talk) 08:26, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Nominator's rationale: delete, the parent category has become redundant after we recently merged/renamed/deleted most of its subcategories. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:42, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- I would not call it redundant. It has two good parents, Category:Chronology of wars and Category:Consequences of events, and still two subcats. More could be added; e.g. Category:Buildings and structures destroyed during World War II is currently in Aftermath of WWII, but "consequences" would fit better than aftermath. – Fayenatic London 08:16, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- Fair point, I will withdraw this nomination. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:26, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
